-  Trede/Mpatasie: Road develops pot holes 2-months after construction

Taxi Drivers of Trede, Sabin Akrofrom and Mpatasie in the Atwima Kwawuma District in Ashanti Region, have expressed their frustration at what they describe as waste of money and shoddy construction of road from Trede Junction to Mpatasie.

According them, the main road, has not been the best since the road has developed some potholes two months after its construction.

Some of the drivers who spoke to Fox fm Morning show reporter Frank Ntow, the construction is such that, coal tar on it cannot last because it’s not thick. It has started developing pot holes and it’s not good enough.”

The drivers are passionately appealing to Ashanti Regional Minister and District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwawoma to intervene on the issue to instruct the contractor ( Kofi Joe ) to reconstruct Trede / Sabin Akrofrom to Mpatasie road as soon as possible.
