The group alleged that their trucks have been impounded with unknown reasons and are being charged to pay an amount of GH¢10,000.00 in order to release their impounded tracks. Saudi Women Divorces Husband because he loves her more than his own mother :  BAHA — A 29-year-old Saudi man was in for the shock of his life when his wife, whom he loved so much, approached the court for a divorce. The estranged husband did not know why his wife would want divorce from him even though he did everything possible for her, but she was adamant in her demand. She admitted that her husband had never denied anything to her but she insisted on leaving him because he preferred her over his own mother. "I can never trust a man who does everything for his wife while he denies even a small favor to his mother," she told the judge. Neither the husband nor wife was identified. The husband, who was in a deep shock, told the judge that he did not want to leave his wife and that he would do everything to keep her but she bluntly rejected the offer. -  Trede/Mpatasie: Road develops pot holes 2-months after construction Taxi Drivers of Trede, Sabin Akrofrom and Mpatasie in the Atwima Kwawuma District in Ashanti Region, have expressed their frustration at what they describe as waste of money and shoddy construction of road from Trede Junction to Mpatasie. According them, the main road, has not been the best since the road has developed some potholes two months after its construction. Some of the drivers who spoke to Fox fm Morning show reporter Frank Ntow, the construction is such that,coal tar on it cannot last because it’s not thick. It has started developing pot holes and it’s not good enough.” The drivers are passionately appealing to Ashanti Regional Minister and District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwawoma to intervene on the issue to instruct the contractor ( Kofi Joe ) to reconstruct Trede / Sabin Akrofrom to Mpatasie road as soon as possible. Veep, Minister support RTU with GHC 60,000.00

Dr Mahmudu Bawumia, the Vice President and Mr Salifu Saeed, the Northern Regional Minister have supported Real Tamale United (RTU) football club with an amount of GHC60,000.00 to help the club to return to the Ghana premier league.  Dr Bawumia supported the club with GHC50,000 while the Minister provided GHC10,000, and was received by the management of the club in Tamale, on Monday.  Mr Saeed, who presented the money on behalf of the Vice President, stressed the importance and significant role sports play in the development of the country, adding that, the donation was also to help address the financial challenges facing the club.  He said RTU remained a symbolic team and the heart of Dagbon, which represents the people within the northern region and it had been a rallying point for unity.   He stressed the need for the club to be given an institutional status to attract major investments that would be geared towards making the club more competitive in order to produce talente
