FF ANTO: I'M YET TO SEE ANYONE LIKE WONTUMI

1st vice national chairman of the NPP Frederick Fredua  An to has admitted that he was yet to see a passionate and zealous young politician who has abundant energy to do party work like Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, in the history of the Dankwa-Dombo-Busia tradition.

To Frederick Freduah Anto, he's sometimes marveled at the kind of character chairman Wontumi represents, explaining that he has seen chairmen in his political carrier but "I can tell you that this youngman here is to me from a different world sent to us by God to redeem NPP from the NDC' slavery."

Speaking to Bekwai, where five constituencies had gathered to endorse the reelection bid of their regional party chairman, Mr. Anto maintained that chairman wontumi must be retained because " his (Wontumi) spiritual, financial and physical support to the party is something we will regret should there be attempt to replace him with anyone."

Recounting the achievements of the regional party boss, FF Anto said: " even when there were financial gurus in the party, it took only wontumi to get a befitting office accommodation for the party"

The constituency executives including Odotobiri, Bekwai, Manso Adubia Manso Nkwanta and Bosomtwe promised to work even harder to ensure the current chairman is retained.

According to him, the current  location could be used as transport yard since no provision was made under the Kejetia project. Speaking to the media after the inauguration of the Suame Municipal Assembly (SMA) yesterday,  Mr Asante said to restore the past glory of Kumasi,  authorities should put in place measures to bring down vehicular traffic within the city. He disclosed that due to unavailability of parking places,  both private and commercial drivers park their vehicles at unauthorized places which stiffen traffic in the city. According to him,  when parking places are provided it will motivate the police to enforce the road traffic regulations to ensure discipline on the roads. He noted that the current location of the zoo can be used to ac
